I haven't got the popularity to put in writing an answer still, but I believe that you might be in a position in order to avoid this "login to" vs "log into" dilemma in the event you applied "log in at host.com" in its place. E.g., you'll be able to then say things like "remember to log in at host.com" or "ok, I'm logged in at host.com. What next?"
